1: How long does it take for completed tasks to report in? Have close to 3k wu's completed & they're just sitting there with more being completed. 2: With these very short wu's, & with everyone completing them in seconds, surely, it puts the server under strain with the constant uploading/downloading? ![]() ![]() |

1: How long does it take for completed tasks to report in? Have close to 3k wu's completed & they're just sitting there with more being completed. Could take up to 24 hours, else just select this project in BM and click Update. 2: With these very short wu's, & with everyone completing them in seconds, surely, it puts the server under strain with the constant uploading/downloading? This server can take it. :-) The database is a little more under strain. Jord 'Cause you seem like an orchard of mines, Just take one step at a time. |

1: How long does it take for completed tasks to report in? Have close to 3k wu's completed & they're just sitting there with more being completed. Been getting http internal server errors all evening. Haven't been clicking update, as every time I did so, boinc blanked out. ![]() ![]() |

restart boinc? and if that didn't work reset your computer, sometimes things like to repeat messages instead of actually doing it. |

Have just run a WU on a box with none waiting to report and it has completed and reported ok. On the 2 boxes with 1k+ WUs and 1 with 3k+ WUs waiting to report, I get still get the "request failed: HTTP internal server error" message and cannot download any more WUs. Have tried restarting BOINC and rebooting boxes. |

Hold on to them for now. I have a hunch and will ask the BOINC developers if the hunch is correct (if they want to answer me... ;-)) Jord 'Cause you seem like an orchard of mines, Just take one step at a time. |

OK, got till 18th to report them. Looking at the server status page, there seems to be about 60,000+ in the same position, which is about 1 in 6 WUs of the last run. |

Can you look in your BOINC Data directory and tell me how big your sched_request_boinc.drugdiscoveryathome.com.xml file is? Also, can you see if the help I gave in this post works, please? Jord 'Cause you seem like an orchard of mines, Just take one step at a time. |

Sorry Ageless & Jack, but I've had to detach 2 hosts from the project (others ok). Had serious problems with DDH on these hosts Dacom-3 & 6. They were not d/l other projects & slowed net access to a crawl. I also think that it was causing other programs to open & run very slowly. With regards to crunching, this is the 1st time I've had to do this, so again, my apologies. ![]() ![]() |

Not sure if this is relevant to the project or boinc.... After detaching D6, rebooted & everything looked normal. However, on accessing BM, same dialogue box popped up with the same symptoms. Left it to it's own devices to see if it carries on. 1 hour later, it's still on screen & cannot access any other program, so had to reboot, enter safe mode delete boinc, reboot & re-install. All now ok. Haven't come across this problem before with boinc, also haven't checked D3 yet. ![]() ![]() |
