The reason I have not been posting for this Alpha project is that I am not having any problems.
I am using a Q6600 with 2GB of ram, 24/7/365 dedicated cruncher, on Windows XP 64 with Service Pack 2.
Boinc version 6.6.28
At the same time I'm running a CUDA application for DNET RC5 on a nVidia 9800GT.

Keep up the great work! :)

Hello

No more problems here either since the quota by 500 wu core is no longer, until the next wave, it allows you to pause and to reflect.

no problems is a good thing and thank you for joining the dd@H project..

just a fore-warning, please don't make a bunch of threads for simple things... if you would like to state your pc status with error rate or no error at all, please do this in the sticky thread up/down/wu errors thread... thank you.

lets keep this forum area neat as possible..

I don't see your quad under your name Iron... i see a Q9450 but not a Q6600.

Oh ya, it used to be a Q6600 and that's it hostname. I get confused.
When I came home one day I saw your message about not getting any feedback, and saw that the computer didn't have any work, so assumed you stopped my computer from getting work, so I paused it and went back to doing some other project.
How much longer you going to be in Alpha ?

How much longer you going to be in Alpha ?

Until we have a reasonably stable application for all platforms (Operating systems), as well as the CPUs and GPUs.

Work shouldn't be a problem, that's something we can make in neigh on infinite numbers.

I kinda like it to have one thread here that says "hey, everything OK here, no errors", it's the opposite from the download/upload and WU errors thread. I sure doesn't hurt to separate the praise from the complaints. :-D

To add to the joy of this thread, I haven't had an error since July 16. :)

no offense to you, but your computers have only run a combine total of 700-800 wus.

my 4 pcs have run over 7,000+ and have had maybe 100-300(15 % error rate for me) of errors since then.. and when we have 100,000+ wu's to be sent out; the error rate is around 5-10 %, thats not bad considering theirs one Lig1 that is the problem. jack made a statistics page for the project but had to bring it down. so i couldn't tell you was it currently is.

zpm, it's not taken as an offcence. I know I'm a small time cruncher, a stitisical nitwit and not dedicted to any project in particular. As I said, I just wanted to add to the joy of the thread, no more than that. No offence to you, but you don't have to reply to every message either.

The present silence certainly presages good news for the rest

I'm pretty much dedicating H2 to testing at the moment because Andrey is concerned about how bad results may reflect to certain audiences. But in order to improve I have to make some mistakes along the way. Our project still has some chronic problems. Like just now it ran out of disk space for some reason.
