As posted on the main page.

Hmm... Cool, another project going for the cuda(nvidia) cards...

Aqua has just joined the few projects that have gpu tasks in the field.

I just bought a 9400 gt 512 mb to crunch cuda works. I hope to offload seti@home to this 9400 and let gpugrid, milky, and aqua, and maybe dd@h on my gtx 260.

i have plans to build a new rig with i7 and with a gtx 295 or higher gpu.

As always I'm getting a bit ahead of myself. I can't seem to get flexible docking working. SimTK has binaries ready for OSX and Linux but none for Windows.

They have source code. Maybe you can tell me how to compile this for Windows!!!

I have zero experience with Code ( as in, any coding).....

contact one of the seti or gpu admin and see if they know.

I'll ask for help from various developers involved with BOINC once I've done sufficent homework and know how to run the software stand alone...without BOINC. Its viewed as intellectual lazyness if I don't do my fair share to get this stuff working. Plenty of folks out there will help with getting it integrated into BOINC. This may take a little while, discussing with the developers of OpenMM/GROMACS code and doing my own testing.

I just added a comment to one of their threads

If anyone has time to work on this and a CUDA capable GPU, I'd like to hear from you!

It does look like we will have gromacs binaries compatible with cuda on Windows in the next few weeks. So the folks at Stanford have informed me. For now we can do some testing on Mac and Linux!

Andrew would really like me to run with this technology and see what we can do. I've taken a very casual approach to it up until now. I don't know if it will really be a panacea. So many folks are hyping it up.

In some cases it's like stock car racing. You have to slow down to go faster. ;-)

you forgot the other half of the quote....

"To make the car feel better."

Trying to get it running on GPU Grid right now for starters...

I came upon a sourceforge project for geting autodock running with CUDA

keep on working on it.... but please, don't take the method aqua@home is taking with gpu.....

their tasks are eating up more cpu than gpu.
