Hello again... on a new server/project! ;-)
When I saw I got imported here I had to test a few Wus but all I get is this error like in the example here:

22.04.2009 22:28:34 DrugDiscovery [error] Can't rename output file fzd2_24357_chemdiv_5471-0111_1240425778_1_0 to projects/boinc.drugdiscoveryathome.com/fzd2_24357_chemdiv_5471-0111_1240425778_1_0: Error 2

Anything I can do except disallowing new work? *grin*

Oh, yes... you're right. I forgot to mention that I got download errors under Linux (64-bit), too!

I just attached today, and I have gotten only 6 or 8 WUs that failed to d/l (MD5 check failed) on the input file.

system info: boinc 6.6.23 x64; win7 x64; Intel ATOM 330 (at 1.9GHz); 4GB RAM

I understand the frustration. Some of the tests work for me but not for others. And then there are some that work for many. Today I've spent many hours testing autodock_mgl and I am actively soliciting advise when I can figure out the problem.

Ok! I caught Tank Master and Zombie on the boinc IRC. We got their's working fine now for autodock_mgl. We had an issue with a missing DLL. Please report if you continue getting errors.

чувак, ты не врубаешься )))))

you totally miss the point.

that's not an docking problem.
this is just stupid ms-dos dark past.

init_data.xml

<project_dir>D:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\BOINC/projects/boinc.drugdiscoveryathome.com</project_dir>

you use wrong slashes in path. thats all.

I try to manually replace it with right slashes (actually backslashes, that uses in paths on disk, instead of slashes that uses in urls) when the task is running, and it completes and reports very well. no more "can't rename" error. voila.

вот и всё.
это работало ещё в прошлой версии. новая версия которая скачалась полчаса назад отработала нормально. возможно вы как-то обошли этот баг. но не факт что он не вылежет снова.

hard to explain but I have been experimenting with this MGL port for quite a while now. Previously on H2@H. I asked Anderson to create a new wrapper that would reference the project directory regardless to what os. It has some issues. went through several attempts and also parsed the slash directions in Python. I came to the conclusion it was best to just extract everything in slot\0 even if it means wasting time to extracting each run. So now I designate the MGL_Root with a simple dot.

There are still other issues that need addressing for this port. I suspect there will be many more errors along the way.

You'll find that it doesn't matter, it will find the path to the directory whether forward slashes or backslashes are used. Test it in Windows explorer, you'll find that the link you gave with all the "wrong" slashes will open up the correct directory without a problem.

Now then, as for the Ukranian or Russian you're typing, do know that we don't understand that. Andrew might. But if you're trying to get something across to Jack, he's a full-blooded American who does not understand all those old languages. You'd best write in (broken) English.

My brother knows the slavic languages very well. I don't think I got the language gene, but I can hold my own in French.

oh such a smart ass this windows explorer is. why don't you tell this to users from d.ru forum who says that they waste whole night of crunch with this "can't rename" error?

Now then, this is Albanian. And I think you will learn it in a not so distant future. Remember the Scottishtiger?

Anyway my engrish is better than any second language you knows (if). GOTCHA!
