Need a tester who has more than one CUDA device running on a computer. Please follow these instructions. Binary can be downloaded here http://hydrogenathome.org/OpenMM_Gromacs.zip Extract to a test directory mdrun_openmm.exe -s md.tpr --device 0 See if it runs then mdrun_openmm.exe -s md.tpr --device 1 Please report the standard output.

Sry, I'm a little late with the news flashes from hydrogen!

You have installed an ATI App today. When will the testing begin?

I thought about participating in Hydrogen@Home, and perhaps even helping with the programming there after I finish with my current problems with my bookmarks database, but for some time H@H has been doing enough of SOMETHING I couldn't even reach their website. Now, I can reach it, but not the instructions for actually running their application.

I've found some information on a version of Gromacs that can run at least partly on a GPU. You might want to check how suitable it is for use at DD@H or H@H.

http://www.gromacs.org/Downloads/Installation_Instructions/Gromacs_on_GPUs

Hydrogen@Home is now allowing participation on their forums, but still failing to offer any workunits.

Any chance you can set Hydrogen@home to let computers connect, allow us to logon via browser, etc?

One possible negative would be messages there asking for work, heh

Hydrogen@Home has, for some time. allowed some types of connections, but not enough to get any workunits.

http://hydrogenathome.org/

Click on Community, then Message boards to reach the forums.

Since they're planning OpenCL applications, it looks like they'll have to wait until BOINC offers adequate support for OpenCL GPU applications. It's not yet clear which future versions of BOINC will support this, only that it will be the 6.13.* series of versions or later. Already planned, though.

So far, Milkyway@Home is offering some OpenCL GPU applications, but only because they have worked out hacks to make them run on 6.10.* and 6.12.* versions of BOINC, if no other BOINC project is running a GPU workunit on that computer at the same time.
