Hello all.

As you may know this project started goes on with tons of errors.Computing erros, downloading errors, server errors, application erros, etc

I only crunched one unit but I had trouble getting that one...

Anyway I think we need to change.
I think admins of this project should submit a research proposal to World community grid, another BOINC project.

All the admins of this project had to do was to make WU's, analyze results, developing applications.Pretty much that.embers would enjoy a faster server, with server errors being solves fast and many more advantages like much more computational power. And you would be the first project on WCG that would use CUDA.

Think about.Much less "administrative" work for admins

I agree with Jack. And he's the main man on the project, him and Andrew.

When each project starting up would go ask WCG for money, server space, help and what not, then what's the use of the BOINC back-end and/or grid computing in general? All projects can stop trying to figure it out for themselves, be inventive, be unique and just turn to IBM/WCG and be absorbed.

Projects with their production work on WCG appear to still be able to put their beta test work (for testing new application versions) on their own server, and therefore use beta test policies with faster results than those using WCG beta test policies.

The other objections to WCG still seem to apply, though.

If DD@H decides to partner with a larger BOINC site, Rosetta@home might be a better choice of which one, since they're already related to a group that sells the software they develop. The outputs of their BOINC workunits sent to the public are expected to go into the public domain after a reasonable time to publish any papers they write, though.
