Could we please stop sending out tasks for mdrun 1.11? Is this still under testing? Perhaps and option in the preferences about which jobs we receive?

I'll take autodock all day long please.

While I'm complaining, I guess I could help troubleshoot. This is the error I'm getting.
<stderr_txt>
../../projects/boinc.drugdiscoveryathome.com/mdrun_0.111_i686-pc-linux-gnu: error while loading shared libraries: ./libc.so.6: invalid ELF header

</stderr_txt>

This is what I have for libc.

/lib/libc.so.6 -> libc-2.9.so

it's been added to the DD wish-list and jack has been made aware of this request...

but i must also add, that this project is completely in alpha... so any and everything needs to be tested.. Much like how Microsoft does an Alpha(internal),Beta, RC, RTM. if boinc used the Microsoft way, we would get no where... 1 machine may work, another may not. hence, the need for everyone to try everything... you and your computers are our alpha, then beta, then full production.. things should(hopefully) go much faster once the workshop Jack is at, is over and he's stateside and can get back into his normal routine. then again, you can't ask Jack to go at 100 mph on everything when he still has training wheels on... there; thats my rant of the day.

add to the rant, it's a modified way of Microsoft that boinc uses.

I eagerly await mdrun 1.12.

At least they fail quickly. That's a plus.

Hopefully, the libc.so.6 error message is of some use. That is on a Gentoo Linux system, by the way.

How about I assign them to the developer group like I initially intended?

possibly, but the developer group is designed and setup to where if your computer can run it, work will be sent to you to test...

Well, I'll quit complaining and accept whatever comes my way. When I do notice a problem, where should I send the information to for trouble shooting?

BTW I spoke with one of the IBM guys today about how you select what apps to run. I have to make a customization in the project preference forms so you can set what applications you want to run. At least it already exists in the database.
